Hoorspool and Romine Manufacturing

Hoorspool and Romine Manufacturing wanted to grow their customer base. As they were marketing to some of the Aerospace Primes, they realized that all the tier 1 and 2 aerospace companies required AS 9100 certification. Hoorspool and Romine Manufacturing implemented AS 9100 certification and was able to contract work to some of the tier 1 and 2 aerospace companies.

Prior to contracting with ISOReady, Hoorspool and Romine had a pretty well documented quality management system they were simply missing the process approach to quality management. ISOReady was able to work with the management team and identify the process inputs and process outputs along with process measurements. The management team used the process approach to identify Key Process Indicators (KPI’s) for each process to identify when the process was operating as planned. ISOReady established a management review process, where the management team met on a monthly basis to review the KPI’s to determine if the processes were operating as planned. During this meeting the management team was able to identify resource needs based on the KPI measurements.
